These are harmless ways to look especially lean for a special occasion.
Do these things for a few days before your big day:
Foods to Avoid
Salt, or anything high in sodium
Flour and any processed carbohydrates, like
dry cereal, bread, crackers
Sugar, including honey, syrup, molasses
Carbonated beverages
Cheese
Beef
Dairy, if you notice that it makes you puffy
Egg yolks
Foods to Eat
Water with lemon or lime added
Green tea
Grapefruit
Asparagus
Fish
Flax seeds
Walnuts
You can also avoid starches and eat extra protein for
two days if your kidneys are healthy and you don’t mind feeling sluggish.
This gives you the “shrinkwrapped” look by dehydrating you and
removing the layer of water between your skin and muscles.
It is not healthy and you shouldn’t do it very often.
This is how body builders make their muscles look like they are
bursting out of their skin.
Getting a tan helps you appear thinner and tightens your skin as well.
Remember, the weight you lose will largely be bloating
and water, which means you can gain it back quickly.
